Not sure whether to choose ClickFunnels or go with CartFlows?

I got you.

Those are tough questions.

But you’ve landed in the right place. In this guide, we’re taking a thorough look at both of these marketing tools.

We call them Funnel builders…

So to help you figure out which one is right for your level of business.

You know, In the world of online business, there’s no such thing as a “one size fits all” solution.

You may come into this guide leaning towards one but then realize that the other is a better fit.

Both CartFlows and ClickFunnels have their strengths.

But for the most part, it comes down to whether you want your funnel built and hosted on WordPress or host built on a self-hosted all-in-one solution like ClickFunnels..

Lets get started!

CartFlows vs ClickFunnels – Overview

What is CartFlows?

CartFlows software

First, we need to take some time to look at CartFlows and see the features and benefits that come with this option.

A tool founded by Sujay Pawar and Adam Preiser.

CartFlows is seen as a sales funnel software that works well when you already have a website through WordPress. WordPress is often seen as one of the premier options when building your website and an uncountable number of many businesses use it already.

This should not be a big problem for your business.

Your business can do a lot if you choose to work with CartFlows.

Some of the features include:

  • Create upsells, downsells, and order bumps to maximize conversions
  • Integrate with your payment processors and collect payments
  • Ready to import templates
  • Create a check out page to help you sell your items or services
  • An attractive landing page that is optimized with SEO so your customers can find you

And lots more…

What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels funnel creator and designer

Now we need to take a look at what ClickFunnels is all about.

A software co-founded and marketed by Russell Brunson.

This is known as a very, very popular sales funnel builder, though there are a lot more features that are present in this platform than on CartFlows.

CF currently has about 150k active customers!

With ClickFunnels, you can build up the whole website without needing to work with a site builder.

For businesses that do not want to worry about hosting on WordPress and the upkeep that come with it, then ClickFunnels is one of the better options.

Like the other program – CartFlows – you will find this system will provide all of the tools that you need to create a sales pipeline.

There will be all the sequences of pages to help you make some of the sales that you would like.

There are a lot of different things that you can choose to do with this system including:

  • Hundreds of templates
  • Build full-fledged funnels and landing pages
  • A/B testing so you can compare options and see what appeals to your customers the best
  • Memberships site creation
  • Affiliate center for managing affiliates
  • Webinars
  • Huge range of integrations
  • No hosting and domain purchase needed
  • Free trial available
  • Tons of courses and training

And more…

Unlike CartFlows, you don’t necessarily have to buy a domain and hosting plan.

ClickFunnels is robust, complex, and easy to use on its own.

And makes it possible to host your website rather than having to work with another hosting provider. And the ClickFunnel system is much easier to use compared to some of the other solutions in the market.

If your business is set up to have a membership and a monthly subscription, then you will want to take a look at ClickFunnels as well.

This system is set up to handle these memberships. And handle affiliates.

Lets take a deeper look at what makes CartFlows and ClickFunnels different.

ClickFunnels vs CartFlows: How Are These Two Funnels Different?

We just spent some time getting a good overview of both CartFlows and ClickFunnels to see what they can offer to us and how they work.

They’re both great systems to use.

So we need to figure out who they appeal to and what really makes them different.

While it may seem like both pretty much serve the same purpose with slightly different features, lets dive deeper to help you make some informed and smart decisions on which one is the best for you.

Some of the biggest differences between CartFlows vs ClickFunnels include:

#1. The Target Users

A good place to start is to see the target users of both ClickFunnels and CartFlows.

The target users who work with CartFlows will include individuals and businesses who already have a website of their own built on WordPress.

If you don’t have a website set up yet, and it is just an idea, then you may want to work with ClickFunnels instead.

The way that CartFlows is designed allows you to use the plug-in that comes with it and add it to your WordPress site builder.

Once that is done, it is easier to make some changes to your website to build the sales, do some upselling, and improve the checkout page sequences.

On the other hand, ClickFunnels is a little different and is best to work with if your website is not designed yet.

And so much focused on SEO. ClickFunnels isn’t an SEO-friendly solution.

So CartFlows appeals to people who want to leverage WordPress in building their business While ClickFunnels is a self-hosted funnel software with a ton of other features.

#2. What Funnels They Can Create

We can also separate ClickFunnels and CartFlows based on the types of funnels they can create for their users.

ClickFunnels will provide you with some more power for the funnels than CartFlows.

Tons of funnels for any product/service type any industry; dentist, restaurant, accountant, realtors, service, and local businesses

You name it.

Here are some of the funnel types you can build on ClickFunnels:

  • Best Selling Book Funnels
  • Product Launch Funnels
  • Perfect Webinar Funnels
  • Physical Product Funnels
  • Fishbowl Funnels
  • Network Marketing Bridge Funnels
  • Event Application Funnels
  • Invisible Funnels (Membership Area)
  • Webinar Funnels
  • Tripwire Funnels
  • Summit Funnels
  • Squeeze Page Funnels

Plus, a ton more…

With ClickFunnels, you can build up any type of website and streamlined the sales process within the ClickFunnels platform.

This doesn’t mean that you can’t work with CartFlows.

CartFlows on the other hand has some strength as a WordPress-based builder. At the moment it provides 4 free templates and 6 premium templates to help you create your first flow/funnel as soon as possible.

CartFlows provides the following templates:

  • Landing page templates
  • Opt-in templates
  • Upsell templates
  • Downsell templates
  • Thank you templates

However, the downside is that these templates work for most page builders including Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi Builder, and Thrive Architect.

That said – you’re still in charge of all your pages and funnels within CartFlows. Unlike ClickFunnels where all of your businesses are built on their platform.

#3. Engaging with the Customers

It is important to pick out a funnel software that allows you a way to engage with your customers.

If your funnel needs to rely on customer engagement and must make it easy for you to follow up with your customers, then ClickFunnels is the right option.

It has a feature known as Follow Up Funnel which allows you to create some automated emails. This allows you a simple way to send out this email to potential customers who did not make a purchase.

You can send highly targeted messages to your customers through email, social, text, and desktop notifications.

However, you may find that CartFlows is not built for these touchpoints with the customer. From my research so far – there’s no such thing as a follow-up feature on CartFlows.

The only way possible way to achieve something similar is by connecting a bunch of automation and email WordPress plugins and link them with CartFlows.

Which costs more. You manage more. Slows down your site and funnel pages.

So, you have to consider how much you would like to engage with the customer.

Sometimes you want to be able to send emails and keep in touch with the customer and that is easier to do with ClickFunnel.

For beginners, the Basic plan is a good place to start. It allows you to choose from three payment types, can max out with 20 funnels, and hold 100 web pages, and will allow you to link up to three domains to the funnels if you would like.

This is often enough to get your business started and you can add more to it later.

The Pricing for CartFlows

CartFlows price

CartFlows works on a different model and just has one plan to work with.

This plan will cost $299 a year. However, you get a lot of great features with this one as well.

You can enjoy:

  • An upsell and downsell
  • Thank you page
  • Checkout page for customer fields
  • Dynamic funnel movement
  • Some great analysis tools so you can see what is working and what is not
  • Shopping cart abandonment feature

The pricing plan on the ClickFunnels system is often seen as a better choice for the number of features you get.

But it does depend ultimately on which system you need to help your business.
