- WooCommerce theme – Free. But it’s advisable to get started with that which costs from $50-$100
- Plugins and Extensions – Some are free and some require payments. Budget around $15/mo
- Web design services – This is usually the most expensive part of building eCommerce stores. You can budget around $300-$3000 for this. Depending on the specifications and sophistication.
So how much does it costs in total to get WooCommerce store up and running?
I’d budget around $400-$700 upfront for the entire setup. Themes, designs, plugins, extension, domain, and hosting.

All aren’t roses, moon, and sunshine when it comes to using online tools. There are things that make them great and also things that tear them apart.

Which Should You Use?
First of all, I have to start by saying that both ThriveCart and WooCommerce are great platforms that were meant to carry out separate tasks. One is dedicated Shopping cart software while the other is an eCommerce platform.
We can’t compare the two as a shopping cart solution nor as an eCommerce platform.
But on a general ground plus level of functions, tools, size, popularity, and features. WooCommerce BEATS ThriveCart in these regards. This is a platform that has been around for over a decade and powers over 50% of online stores.
That out of the way…
Whichever you should use between ThriveCart and WooCommerce all comes down to your online business type.
